Samsung Galaxy Note Reviews Image

The Samsung Galaxy Note is an Android smartphone and tablet computer that was introduced in October 2011. It has attracted attention because of its 5.3-inch screen size – between that of conventional smartphones and tablets – and because of its included stylus.

Hardware specifications of the device include:

    a dual-core 1.4Ghz Exynos processor or a 1.5 Ghz Snapdragon S3 processor (AT&T, SK Telecom, KT, LG U+)
    a 5.3” WXGA (1280 x 800) HD Super AMOLED screen
an 8-megapixel main camera that can record 1080p video, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera
    802.11 b/g/n support for Wi-Fi
    Quad-band HSPA+ 21Mbps 850/900/1900/2100 mobile network support, LTE support in AT&T version
Global positioning using both the a-GPS and GLONASS systems.

The Galaxy Note includes a stylus which Samsung calls the "S Pen." The stylus tucks into the bottom panel of the phone and can be used in a variety of apps. It can simply replace the use of a finger in situations where precision is needed, but it is also equipped with a "shift" button, which when pressed enables other functions such as grabbing screenshots (which can then be drawn on using the stylus) or for writing sticky notes with drawing/handwriting, text input, and pictures. The stylus uses a Wacom digitiser system which results in accurate pressure-sensitive input.

Samsung released in late November 2011 an SDK (software development kit) for the stylus so developers can write third-party apps that use it for input. Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich", which is expected to be made available for the Galaxy Note in 2012, also includes support for stylus input.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 Phone Features

Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 Phone Features

Pros:
Sleek And Stylish
Lightweight
Android 3.1 HoneyComb
Dual-core 1GHz processor

Cons:

No Expandable Memory
Expensive Accessories

The Bottom Line

It’s pretty clear that amongst all the Honeycomb tablets, Samsung has done the best job of making a 10-inch tablet. If you are looking for a 3G tablet and are not a big Apple fan, then this is the perfect tablet to buy.

The 750 is fitted with a 7000 mAh Li-polymer battery which easily gives you 8 hours of life in heavy usage scenarios.

Performance
Performance wise, this tablet easily gives a good competition to the iPad2. Its touch screen is nearly as nimble and responsive as an iPad. For an Android tablet, it's easily the best optimised touch experience. Typing on the tablet is also no pain at all. The fingers flow smoothly and the input is butter smooth, even with GPU intensive games, thanks to the dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor under the hood and 1GB of RAM. The camera on the tablet is not the best, but I have hardly seen people clicking pictures with their tablets. For occasional snaps, the camera does the job. The front-facing camera for video calling is superb and clear. It easily handles multitasking and has a negligible amount of lag on it.

Blackberry Curve 9380 Features

 Blackberry Curve 9380 Features
The BlackBerry Curve 9380 is a mid-range smartphone developed by Research in Motion. It is the first to feature a touchscreen and no physical keyboard. The curved, all-touch design creates a smartphone that's not only great to look at, but also feels just right in your hand.

TechRadar gave the Curve 9380 three out of five stars. They liked the smartphone's affordability, "bright, colourful screen", the BlackBerry 7 OS, the design and the light weight. However, they were displeased with the device's instability, low HVGA display resolution, and on-screen keyboard, especially due to it autocorrecting the password field. Their reaction to the Curve's social networking services integration was mixed, as they enjoyed some aspects but were frustrated at others. They said: "we'd rather have the BlackBerry Curve 9360 within the BlackBerry range we don't think it's the best option in its price range, and for only a little more money, you could get handset."
